Make mine music!
Okay, I gave in. I went out for a sushi lunch yesterday. The money spent was definitely worth it. Ah, I love Japanese food!
I realized that I had some pork in the freezer and went to pull that out last night to make tonkatsu and realized that there was no saving it. I had bought it in April. Then I noticed other pork from last October. Then I saw a bunch of other stuff that I've had longer than I've had Kirara, and figured that it's time to clean out the freezer. I really should hunt down a place that sells just 1-lb. portions for a single person to use.
I ended up watching "Father of the Pride" as well, and as
cbeveridge said in his journal, it felt like it was lacking something. For me, it felt like the show was trying way too hard to make some sort of statement. Is it a family show? Is it suppose to be a show like "Everybody loves Raymond"? In any case, I just didn't care for it. It mainly served as background noise while I worked on other stuff. The animation was nice, and Carl Reiner as Larry's father was hilarious though.
Thanks to
cowgirled, I got to get Wolf's Rain and
cadaya let me see what game music sounded like. Ok, I'm in love. I also finished adding my Sailormoon Memorial Music box to my iPod, three more discs of my Rurouni Kenshin CD box set and a Prince compilation CD. These discs were the game music and the movie. Now I have more than 1,100 songs on here and I've used less than 3 GB on here. This is wonderful. Speakings of wonderful, have y'all seen the new Apple iMac G5 yet? It is also a thing of great beauty.
