Fic update status

cowgirled and tailfluff did this a couple weeks ago, but they gave update statuses on their fics. After receiving an odd review to one of my fics, I reckoned it's time for me to do this as well.



"Shikon no Go: A Fanfic in 100 Chapters" - I normally do this fic at work, and I've been incredibly busy here the past couple of weeks. I hope to get back on track to keep churning out more chapters. I'd like to be finished with it by the end of summer.

"The Twilight Struggle" - It's outlined all the way to the end, but because I forgot to adhere to it, I'm rearranging part of ch. 7. I also need to go back and re-research one of the key events that is going to take place in ch.7-8 as we move into the actual events of Nobunaga's attack on Mt. Hiei.

"Return to You: The Fate of the Shikon" - Its chapter 7 is nearly complete. I've gotten the scenes of Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippo's traveling to France done, I just need to go back and add in the scenes that take place in Tokyo during this time.

"The Deep and Savage Way" - This fic is on hold until I see a copy of movie 3. I've read the summaries and seen the photos, but I want to see a copy of this movie for myself. Then, I am going back to the beginning of the story and revising it to fit the movie. I've gotten some reviews on Inuyasha's parents names, but this was written before Izayoi was named in movie #3. So, I want to change the names and also change Inuyasha's name back to the one his father gave him. Again, this was written before movie 3 aired, so I had to guess on all of this until then. After that, it won't take me long to complete it.

"For This Dojo's Honor" - I'm getting pretty excited about this fic again. I want to rewatch the Hiko episodes of the Kyoto Arc before I write the next chapter. I see this running maybe three more chapters, four at the most.

"Love and Duty" - Meh. I'll get back to this...some day.

PLANNED FICS:
- There will be at least two sequels to "Return to You." One of them concerns Inuyasha's search for the past, as we learn the story of his parents alongside his and Kagome's quest to discover the truth. I actually have part of that written. The second sequel is a lot more fun and explores the profession that Inuyasha and Shippo have gotten themselves into.

- "A Miko's Shadow": This story came about because of the constant Kikyo/Kagome debates. It's set a year after Shikon is completed, but Kagome hasn't used it. Kaede says that in order for Kagome to use the jewel, she needs to undergo formal miko training. So, Kagome sets out alone for this training. It's a coming of age story for her, as she learns to develop her own strength without depending on Inuyasha and to break free of living in Kikyo's Shadow.
