Well, I managed to get to work in one piece. Gah, when was the last time I had a royal klutz attack like that? (No comments from the peanut gallery.)
I managed to get along fine until I noticed my right foot isn't fitting inside my shoe any longer. So I pulled off the shoe and my sock and discovered I did a nice little number on my foot. Ow... When I tripped, my ankle twisted and I landed right on my foot itself. Good thing I drink all of that milk all the time. Otherwise I'd probably be in the emergency room right now. So, I have my right foot propped up on my trash can (overturned and empty.)
I churned out three chapters of "Shikon no Go" yesterday. I am so happy to have my muse back!
I picked up one of the new McDonald's Go Active meals to see what it was all about. I'm writing a column about them for the consumer page. Eh, they don't seem all that great right now, unless you like getting a pedometer for $6. Other than that, it's just a bottle of water and a salad thrown together that probably costs less or right at the same without the fancy packaging. The pedometer has ursuped my cell phone's place of honor at my hip for the moment, but I highly doubt unless the swelling in my foot goes down in a few hours that it will matter.
I finally viewed my video tape of my first three convergence segments last night. All I have to say is.....dear God, the horror! I asked Jan if Media General would pay for emergency liposuction.
alf_b got to hear me go into shock regarding this. The third segment was the best, thanks to the new haircut, etc. But still...the pain! The pain! The horror!!!!!!
BTW, check out the new Nintendo DS
