"Return to You: The Fate of the Shikon" - This deals with the two major themes of the story - Inuyasha and Kagome reuniting after more than 400 years and the final fate of the Shikon no Tama. It also marks another return - that of Naraku, whom they thought they had defeated.
"The Twilight Struggle" - A shortened name of a Babylon 5 episode called, "The Long, Twilight Struggle," which had to do with the sad and tragic events of the Narn vs. Centauri War that took place within the series. The outcome of that for the Narn reminds me of the ultimate outcome that will come from Oda Nobunaga's war that marked the end of the Sengoku Jidai and the destruction of the monks on Mt. Hiei in 1571.
"Shikon no Go: A Fanfic in 100 Chapters" - Taken fromakai_kitsune's "Kendo no Go: A Fanfic in 100 Chapters." The title means "Language of the Shikon." I tend to think of each chapter as a shard, and the final chapter will reflect the entire Shikon no Tama journey.
"The Deep and Savage Way" - This comes from the line at the end of second Canto Dante's "Inferno." The line is simply, "I entered on the deep and savage way." The title is suppose to reflect Inuyasha's mental journey that he takes over the course of his illness, a trip into his own personal Hell, much like Dante's.
"For This Dojo's Honor" - This is Kaoru's goal in this fic, to retain the honor of the Kamiya dojo and to prove that she is a worthy swordswoman to stand alone without her father, or even her husband.
