PS2 and other stuff

savvyliterateYes, I am now the proud owner of a PlayStation 2. It only cost $1.
Seriously.
I traded in my GameCube, all of its games, my PSOne and several old DVDs and got $148 worth of credit at GameStop. So I got a PS2 and Final Fanasty X. I'm playing the game right now. Great game. The dubbed voice of Tidus SUCKS. I keep wanting to slap him. During the cut scene when Yuna gets him to laugh, I wanted to cover my ears. I swear I even saw the cats cringe during that.

akai_kitsune how awesome Kingdom Hearts is and also seeing some scenes from the new Inuyasha PS2 game. After seeing chibi-Inuyasha do a Kaze no Kizu, I was like, "That's it! I'm so getting a PS2 now."
I like the PS2 better than the GameCube. I discovered I still had Final Fanasty VII (Lance's) and Lunar: Silver Star Story (a high school friend I forgot to give the game back to) and I can still play those on the new machine. The FF games seem more engaging than the Zelda ones and I discovered I don't get a headache playing these games. Besides, a GameCube is so cheap, later down the road I can always get another one. So next game on my list is Kingdom Hearts. Thanks, Akai-san! ::grins::
I had fun at the NASCAR race on Saturday. It was a very nice experience and I wouldn't mind doing it again. I'll go into it a bit more later.
I got my hair done on Wednesday! I look different now and everyone comments on how much more professional it makes me look. I like it too, but now I have to style my hair and it's a pain in the butt. I really like my new hair stylist, Mike Moore with The Works right off exit 5 on the Virginia side. Very cool.
They're also opening a Japanese/Vietnamese restaurant in the old Pizza Hut right in front of my apartment complex! I CAN WALK TO EAT JAPANESE!!! SQUEE!!!!
