Rant on fandoms

Well, it’s 2004 so maybe I should update my journal now. I have new friends! Welcome,
lelu,
akai_kitsune,
enogitna,
mishakatt,
tailfluff and
yuenmei! Enjoy the random spruts of insanity that come from here ocassionally.
I also have a new fic! “Just a Rosary” is a short Inuyasha fanfic that emerged from a chapter I was going to do for “Shikon no Go” and also a conversation with
cowgirled.
I am so close to unsubscribing from the Yahoo ADInuyasha group. Mou, the people who run that group make me furious. They are suppose to be promoting intelligent discussion of the series, however if you’re not a member of their little clique or have opinions that are different from theirs, then they either ignore you or belittle you. I went through this enough with DQMW-L! Not to mention that if someone happens that they consider juvenile - such as the posting of a poll - the moderator of the group will act even more juvenile than the people who did the stuff to begin with! This woman has a child! I am not going to tell my child it is okay to hide myself under a false identity to go spam a group that has spammed you, or let my child see if I have done that. It makes me sick when I see people who are suppose to be role models act like teenagers themselves. They proclaim to be mature, but they really aren’t mature nor tolerant at all. Just ask
cowgirled. Mou! I got really lucky with SMRFF and the TFME message boards. Such a fantastic groups, though SMRFF’s been real quiet lately.
Okay, my ranting is done. I enjoyed it. I don’t want this petty, exclusive little group to ruin my enjoyment of Inuyasha. That happened on DQMW-L, ruining my enjoyment of Dr. Quinn. Even now I have problems getting back into the series. I am not going to let this happen again.
