Sweet Home Alabama

Well, this weekend I'm visiting my family and friends in Alabama. I also brought the laptop with me so that I could write if I wanted to. And yes, Stef, I am writing!
It's nice to see everyone again. Glad to know that things haven't changed that much down here. It feels kind of weird though. It's almost as if I never left, that I'll be getting up in the morning, putting on my band uniform and getting ready for the football game. Instead, Celeste and I are heading down to Montgomery so that I can see my parents and also to go by the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Celeste has never seen it and Jan wants me to bring back a story for the Herald Courier. I figured maybe I can wing my way out of a few extra hours off on Monday. ;-)
I indugled in some nostalgia...I bought Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Game Boy Advance. OMG, I loved this game when I was 9-years-old, to the point where my brothers and I fought over it daily. I always thought it to be the best of the Mario Bros. games that I've played. Yet going through it now, it seems pathetically easy to me. It's kinda scary. Am I THAT old? I hope not!
Saw
clarus this evening and got most of Kenshin back. Wai! Marathon, here I come! I still have a good 40 episodes of "Inuyasha" to watch as well.
I also spent time with
caligogreywings today. We chatted and she made dinner. Nicky is the most awesome cook that I know. She can literally take nothing and turn it until something extremely delicious. Had a very filling meal. Wai!
I'm in such a good mood right now. I have been for a long time. Life is fantastic!
