Her early music was good. Her latest fare...oh my God, what was she thinking?
She had the opportunity to really attract the respect for millions had she kept her legs closed and waited until marriage. But nooooo....she’s now sharing kisses with Madonna and brushing off her earlier crusade about waiting for marriage like a hypocrite.
What a moron. Even if she did have sex, she would had redeemed some measure of respectability by admitting it was a mistake and using it as a chance and a lesson to prevent teenage girls from caving into peer pressure. That one went out the window.
Kendal Ehrlich, the first lady of Maryland and the mother of a 4-year-old son and is newly pregnant, said at a recent conference, “It is incredibly important to get that message to young women. You know, really, if I had an opportunity to shoot Britney Spears, I think I would. I hate to say that, but you know, like I said, I’m raising a boy ... and I think, ’Oh my goodness, what would I do if I had a daughter who is seeing these images and having peer pressure?’”
Of course, the shooting statement was made in jest, but she does have a point. People such a Britney Spears are a danger to adolescent teens. I’ve got a 7-year-old niece. I certainly don’t want her exposed to that. I only worry more as she gets older. I hate to think what Tony and Melissa are dealing with. Erin’s such a sweet child...I just hope she remains free of those influences such as Spears’.
