Oh, look! It's the last weekend of October! Look at all the Halloween decorations, the pretty fall colors, the 6 to 10 inches of snow ... wait a second. Mother Nature, you troll!
So, yes, add freak October snow to the list of things central Pennsylvania has experienced this year: Earthquake, hurricane, tropical storm and major flooding. C'mon, baby, I'm waiting for that plague of locusts! And, I'm sure there's a few dormant volcanoes out there!
For some reason, the approaching snow caused us all to be very, very silly.

Did I mention I really, really do love my job? And my co-workers. I think at times I work in the best newsroom ever, or at least on this side of the Mississippi.
And, we've just got the word we're being evacuated to the press plant because of the power going out repeatedly. Whee!! *bundles up, grabs the Thornton's hot chocolate to share with co-workers and heads to work early*
