Going to Alabama

I'm going home today! I'm going to Alabama for an entire week...provided I ever get out of work in one piece.

But, the nerve-wracking part is that Jeff is coming down for two of those days to meet my parents. We're both pretty nervous about it. This will be the first time Daddy's met any of my boyfriends. No, eagle222, you don't count since my dad met you five years after we broke up.

I'm going to stay the night over in Knoxville and Jeff's sending me down with a present for my mom, for his intrusion as he calls it. I think it's sweet and I can't wait to see the look on her face when I give it to her.

I also met Jeff's sister through Yahoo the other night. She's such a fantastic girl. She's almost 16 and is very mature for her age. Already, she's placed me into a big sister role, and it's pretty scary. I've always been the little sister, the best friend, the daughter and the girlfriend. Oh, and an aunt. But not a big sister. I hope I do right by her.

I am so addicted to shopping iTunes now. I've only bought three songs since I first began browsing, but I have an entire list of stuff I eventually want to get.
