I'm here, I swear! I'm even alive! I think...

It's been a pretty busy week, but it's been a lot of fun. Among the last of my income tax money, I replaced my DVD player. Now I can play VCDs! So I'm burning my Inuyasha episodes as VCDs instead of normal data CDs. Except for some reason, the program I am using is flipping random files upside down. It's very annoying and I'm trying to figure out what to do about it. I've gotten six episodes burned to VCD so far and will go back and do from episodes 102 onward so I'll have the Shinintai Arc on VCD. Woot!

By the way, does anyone know a good way to get screencaps from the fansubs? I tried, as tailfluff suggested, to do the PRINT SCREEN command, but the area with the video is black. Grrr...baka Windows XP.

I bought the materials to make a present for a friend of mine. I have two months to get it finished. I sincerely hope I will. I also hope the friend likes it as well.

There is a drabble contest going on at inuyasha_fanfic right now and it's literally exploded with drabbles! I need to sit down and review them. Hopefully I can do that this weekend. I also won an award in the community's first fanfic contest last week. I've not won many awards before. It's really sweet. ::beams::

Speakings of writing, thanks to a bunch of pictures that cowgirled has in her journal, I have inspiration. None of the ideas really fit into "Shikon no Go," but I'm thinking of using them as drabbles.

I MUST clean this weekend. Must, must, MUST! I need to get the litter box smell out of the house. I know one of the cats made a mess somewhere and I have yet to find it. It's making me mad. But, with the weather so warm, I can turn off the heat and leave the windows open while I'm at work. It's very nice. It will also provide some exercise as well.

Now, back to the great Orchid Story of 2004! Whee!
