I did my good deed for the week. I came into work this morning and worked for six hours (three to get me to 40 and three hours overtime) to help Jan get out a special section. We actually got a good chunk of the work done. For stories written by advertising folks, they're not that bad. Only a few of them wanted to downright make me wretch.
One of the photographers, Earl, bought my lunch for me today because I didn't have any money. He's so sweet! He's just like a grown-up kid and is extremely thoughtful. Out of the three, if I can snag him as a photographer for my shoots I will. And before anyone says anything, yes he is married. He's got a couple of kids...counting himself :-) All three of our photographers are fun. Photographers, from what I've found, are simply the best and most interesting people to hang around.
I was going to head into Johnson City to pick up supplies for Mama's birthday present but fell asleep and woke up well...10 minutes ago? Pooh. Oh well, maybe if I get off work early enough on Monday I can drive over there and grab the stuff. Once I get it, it shouldn't take long to make.
Apparently, Tony has decided to rebel against both ours and Melissa's families and have Thanksgiving at his house this year. Atlanta is only 4 and a half hours from here.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
caligogreywings, as soon as you find out your plans let me know...I'm thinking of asking him if I can go to his place for the day, especially since because I just worked three hours of overtime I now have the gas money to get there! I'm also thinking about heading back to work a bit late the next day so I can visit one of the anime/comic shops in Atlanta and either pick up the second Inuyasha movie OST or the second movie on DVD so I'd get it off my computer. Hey, if I'm lucky, even though I only have half a day to take, they'll allow me the entire day off! If this happens, beijin we have to do lunch!
I'm liking this idea better and better...hmm....if I can work two extra hours Monday and one extra Tuesday and Wednesday, I could make this work no matter what I do! Oooh...must call my onii-chan.
