Just take it!
Oro...
I just commented to the lady who puts the ads on the pages that someone stole her red pen again. We have a red pen lying on the markup table so we can cross off our pages as we complete them. Mind you, this wasn’t trying to criticize anyone. It was just an observation.
“Hey, someone stole your red pen again,” I said, turning to head back to the supply closet for another one.
“Well, just take this,” she snapped and thrust the pen she was using at me.
“It’s ok..”
“Just take it!”
“Yes ma’am.” Sheesh. It’s not like it’s going to kill me to cross the room and get another pen.
This was all after I walked out my door this morning and got a good blast of cold air. Here I was dressed in a thin, mid-sleeved top and khakis. So I doubled back and got my jacket. Walked back outside. Went back in and exchanged said jacket for winter coat and my hat. I need to go get some gloves and a scarf. And you know what? I bet you that James is STILL walking to class in shorts! James no baka!
(Yes, he admitted to me that he does read my LJ, which is why I directed that last comment at you!)
Last night was a good night. I got sleep and
kitesareevil finished her story! I also got to see parts of a story that
cowgirled is writing. Plus, saw scans for chapter 337 of Inuyasha. I predict that series will be finished by the end of 2004 if not sooner. The manga I think will finish by mid-2004 and it’ll take the anime a few more months to wrap things up.
Things have been so stressful at work lately with all of the computer problems. I’m trying to keep cheerful about it. It’s been hard though. I know I’ll have to come in and do some work this weekend because I wasn’t able to get it all done earlier this week. All of the problems is why I think Hettie (the red pen lady) and everyone else is in a bad mood.
