Sankontessou!
After Wednesday, I am convinced of three things:
1) Episode 128 of Inuyasha is the funniest thing I’ve seen in AGES.
2) Inuyasha OST 3 is absolutely wonderful. Definitely better than the first, on equal par with the second.
3) Animal Crossing is ADDICTING
Yes, Tuesday night I became the proud owner of a new GameCube. I found more old N64 games and traded in a bunch of old GameBoy Advance games. So I got the system and two games for only $125. Then I went back and spent $20 on a GameBoy linkup so I could access the special island on Animal Crossing and a seperate memory card so I wouldn’t have to wipe out the one that came with Animal Crossing so I could play Zelda.
I found the ultra rare Zelda: Ocarina of Time GC game that came with Zelda: WindWalker at our GameStop, which is why I went ahead and grabbed it. Only $30! (well, free after all that credit.) So now I’m playing the Ocarina of Time again as well. I forgot how much the game gives me a headache. It’s also a lot easier from the first time I played it, back when I was dating Lance. I never did finish the game - I think I was halfway through it.
By the way,
caligogreywings, my addiction to Animal Crossing is all YOUR fault. :-P
I got to cover an event at the Barter Theatre today and James Earl Jones was in attendance. No, I didn’t get a chance to meet him or interview him. They brought him in and out as fast as possible. But I sat about two feet from him. :-) Yes, he’s as impressive in person as he is on stage. His voice is just the type that captivates an audience. It reminds me of warm honey, running rich and smooth.
Let’s see, plans for the weekend. As
kitesareevil can testify, last weekend was very productive in the writing department. That’s probably a good course to take again. Plus, I really need to clean the apartment again. I swear, I cleaned it Saturday and the cats have turned it into a wreck (well...maybe I helped too.) I also finished reading “Alice 19th,” so I need to write a review on that for Anime On DVD.
I also must socialize! Get out of the house! Go meet single men! I can...go plop my butt on a chair at Barnes and Noble and read a book! Yeah! Excitement galore! I can even take my laptop and write! Hey....what’s the strange looks for?
