Hana Yori Dango (Boys over Flowers)
I’ve received yet another bouquet of flowers.
No, they’re not from a guy. It’s from a family I did a story on. It was a fantastic story and I’m really proud of it. The son has bipolar disorder and it’s the story of the living hell he’s gone through in the past 13 years. This is the story here, so please read it! I’m very proud of it.
The cats and I are getting ready for Kirara’s arrival this weekend. Well, I’m getting ready - Peekaboo and Lil’Bit are tearing up everything that I do as usual. Oh well. They’ve really grown attached to sleeping with me - especially when I turn on the heating blanket! Little heat lechers. ;-)
I got a call from Terry, a good friend from college, Friday night. We talked for a long time about his problems there. I noticed how neatly I avoid any real discussion about my work and my troubles. I tend to have this habit of - let’s talk about your problems and find a solution, but it’s hard for me to open up about what’s going on in my life.
Let’s see, in the past two months, I’ve received two bouquets of flowers and a gift basket so far in thanks of stories I’ve done. The gift basket we donated to the food pantry. I have no idea what I’m going to do about these flowers! I can use the fall leaves in them to help decorate Thursday’s Empire front though....
Oh yeah, and I started a neat Inuyasha fic Saturday. I hope it pans out. This is the hardest series I've ever encounter in getting my head into the character's.
