All smiles
I was wrong about the "In Death" count. It's currently 16 books, not 15. One of them was on my bedroom floor from where I had been reading it before I go to bed. And
aishuu, be sure to send me a message once you reach the biggest battle of the century. Yup! Roarke vs. "The Grill" ::wicked grin::
I read a book called the "Surrendered Single," which gave me a lot of insights into the insecurities women feel about relationships. I didn't realize until now how controlling of my relationship with Lance was last year. I grabbed the reins and made sure that I kept in charge because I was afraid of getting hurt. In the end, we did what was best for us, but still...I now know to be more careful next time. I also read two Little House books last night, "These Happy Golden Years" and "The First Four Years." That's a trip down memory lane I always enjoy making.
I journeyed up to the Bristol Mall today and didn't get much except a Subway sandwich out of it. The manga selection at B Dalton is finally expanding (yay!), so perhaps when "Rurouni Kenshin" starts coming out, I won't have to go to Johnson City or Kingsport to get my fix.
I've got up through part three of "Love and Duty" finished and so I better work on chapter 4. This is now where the story almost completely deviates from the original, and I hope for the better as well. I also need to clean my bedroom and clean out the laundry room to get ready for my washer and dryer that's coming tomorrow! I bought them from a co-worker for $185 and he's letting me pay in installments. No more laundromats! Squee!!
