A good thing out of a poor relationship
You know...I finally did something I'd been meaning to do.
I've got a box with a Nintendo 64 and a bunch of games in it. The system I had bought for Lance as a present and the games were either ones he borrowed or those we got together. It went with me to Selma and he never asked for them back.
Soo....it's been 10 months since the end of the relationship. Lance has moved to Montgomery and we have no way to reach him. I'm now In Bristol and he has little way to reach me.
Earlier this evening, I was surfing the Internet and discovered that you could play Dance Dance Revolution at home on this mat. I'd been really wanting to try the game as a form of fun and exercise. I eyed the box with the Nintendo 64 and the games. Lance had made no effort to contact me to get them back and I had tried everything I could to get ahold of him. And technically, I DID buy the N64. So....
I traded it and the games in and bought a used PSOne, Dance Dance Revolution and a pad. The grand total out of my pocket after the credit? $23.97 :-D Not bad, eh?
I've already tried the game out. I LOVE it. My legs are still burning, but I don't care. Finally, something fun I can do to exercise. I haven't had that since marching band.
Oh, and if you think me trading in the system and the games was poor taste, Lance has a lot of my things still. He has a nightstand worth at least $100, a toaster oven and a CD case.
