Mulling things over

It's a good thing that while a nuisance, the heat here is barely phasing me at the moment. It's no worse than Alabama in the middle of summer. It did make running errands an adventure. I got a lump sum of freelance money so after paying bills and paying off the hotel from last weekend, I headed out to Costco and Best Buy to pamper my iMac. MegaBunneh now has a second monitor (yet to be named) and a badly needed 1TB external drive earmarked for backups that I have dubbed "Calliope." I'm very pleased with the external HDs offered at Costco, and the membership has already paid for itself. I left Time Machine running when I went to work, and it was going to take the entire 8-hour shift to process.

It's funny. I find that I tend to censor myself on LiveJournal a lot more lately. Maybe it's because it's easier to use stuff such as Twitter and Google+ (which I really, really like.)
