First off, a pretty cool meme from [livejournal.com profile] raventhourne. It does everyone good to hear stuff such as this:

Post a comment, and I will reply with one or two reasons why I think you're great. In return, you have to post this same meme on your blog and comment for other people.

Thursday felt weird. I wrote two articles for TUAW, did editing work, did a daily business page, finished Sunday business, proofed a bunch of pages, attended meetings, organized a future con appearance, wrote a Doctor/River fic and did three prototypes for a page that's to run next week ... yet I feel like I accomplished absolutely nothing. Yeah, my perspective I feel like I did nothing. *headdesk*

I think a large part of it is that I've let the apartment go the past couple of weeks in terms of appearance. It's not a pigsty by any means, but you can definitely tell I haven't had much time to clean or get groceries. The time I do have to clean is when I get home from work, but then I have the downstairs neighbors pitching a fit if I move around too much. The good news there is that they're moving out at the end of July. *tosses confetti* However, they're still up to their old tricks. [livejournal.com profile] secondlina and I were chatting via Skype on Sunday and you could hear Ms. Downstairs Neighbor screaming at Mr. Downstairs Neighbor so loudly that even Isa could hear it.

But, I'm pretty happy with the work I've been doing all around. I think I'm going to cut the TUAW stuff short this afternoon and go lay in a decent supply of groceries and do a bit of cleaning.

The work's paid off though because Isa and I have been accepted to FanExpo Canada! It's our first con under the Namesake banner, and we're both excited. We're sharing a table with the lovely Adriana Blake, who is the creator of "Fall on Me". We're working on prints and the like, and we're going ahead with doing a limited edition run of the prologue and chapter 1 of Namesake. This is going to be pretty awesome!
