Farewell, Sarah Jane Smith

Thank you for everything, Sarah Jane. I didn't discover your awesomeness until I saw "School Reunion" with the Tenth Doctor. Then I went and watched the older serials with the Third and Fourth Doctors. Elisabeth Sladen was a lovely person. She was one of those actors who not only identified and shared the joy of being a fans with fandom, but helped Sarah Jane evolve in a way that she touched as many people in 2006-2011 as she did in the 1970s. You're no longer in pain, and I hope you're giving the Third Doctor and the Brig a massive hug right about now.
