What's it about?
Namesake is the story of Emma Crewe, a woman who discovers she can visit other worlds. She finds out that these are places she already knows – fantasy and fairy lands made famous through the spoken word, literature and cinema. Her power as a Namesake forces her to act as a protagonist in these familiar stories as she figures out how to get home.
But as she travels, she discovers that those controlling her story have their own selfish goals in mind - and her fate is the key to everyone's happy ending.
If you like, adventure, humor, stories of friendship, fairy tales and fantasy, this is the webcomic for you.

Blabbering now ...
I was perfectly calm until ... 24 hours ago. Now I have no fingernails left and I think Mike is about ready to Fed-Ex some sort of knockout drug. This isn't like a newspaper, where you do it once a day, put it away and go onto the next project. It's an ongoing commitment that's going to last several years if everything goes right. I'm scared of failing. I'm scared of causing Isa to fail, and I don't ever want to do anything to hurt her. However, it'll be a learning experience for both of us. Isa said, "But I’m also confident that a good story, good art, good support from awesome people and good marketing could make this something great," and I think she's right. I'm looking forward to riding this roller coaster, and I hope you all are too!
