savvyliterateMy living room is clean.
Seriously, it is 100 percent clean. I've even been keeping it that way! I cleaned off the table and put a tablecloth on it and two placemats (picked up on clearance at Wal-Mart). The cats find the tablecloth amusing but have only pulled it off once. I tossed out a box that had been sitting next to the kitchen since I moved there. I hung a couple pictures on the wall next to the kitchen - one a sepia-toned photograph of an old-fashioned downtown grocery store I took when I lived in Selma and the other a scene of a bookstore. My little apartment is starting to shape up.
I didn't realize how hard it is to decorate. The next thing I plan to do is hang curtains in the living room. I haven't found anything I liked though. I guess it's one of those things I'll have to keep my eye on.
I also spent time working on my cross-stitching, on a project I hope to have complete by May. It's shaping up quite nicely. I also finished up the season three boxset for Babylon 5 and am working on season four now.

Thank you, to the anonymous poster, for the suggestion regarding screen caps. On Friday,ely_chan recommended a different program that I am now using for screencaps. I was able to create a couple of nifty covers for my Inuyasha VCDs. I'm still having a problem with that video flippage though...
