I have to admit, lorelaisquared and earlgreytea68 summarized most of the awesomeness about "The Wedding of River Song." But, I'm adding in my own observations and how Doctor/River suddenly leaped up into equal status with my other OTP, Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev from Slayers:

Women in Doctor Who

I keep reading posts on doctorwho and other places about how Moffat is a misogynist and keeps making cracks about women. And while I don't deny that he's made some stupidly sexist remarks about women, I do wonder if I'm watching the same show at times.
