Everything plus the kitchen sink

Meh. A good many of you know about the DDoS attacks against LiveJournal, which drives me crazy. I know it's not the site's fault, but it's aggravating not being able to access the site. I just did another backup of entries to Dreamwidth, and a lot of people are doing the same just to play it safe. That being said, if any of you need a Dreamwidth invite, I've got 11 codes left.

Today was one of those days - a day when you say screw it to your diet and just try to make it through. I blame it on my impending period. Some months, I'm lucky not to have any symptoms. Other months, I have everything plus the kitchen sink thrown at me. This is a kitchen sink month.

I did make it out to Borders yesterday, where I got a nice bagload of books for only $23. I picked up a few more romance novels, the first volume of Diana Wynne Jones' Chronicles of Chrestomanci, I think one other book and a cute little Japanese craft book called Baby Stuff. I've been wanting to get more books in this series. I'll probably go back one more time before the store closes next week.

And, hurray for unexpected windfall! Apparently I'm entitled to the money in my pension fund from Bank of America, and they're sending me a check. That'll help me get the plane ticket to the UK in July. *boogies*
