Well, there went a productive day before I started my Host shift. I set my alarm for 9:30 and got up at 12:30. Crud. Considering I have stuff I have to do before I go to work today, I may just e-mail and say I can't make my Host shift today. This is what I get for staying up until 5 a.m. watching Sex and the City. I couldn't help it though. Seeing the end of Carrie and Mr. Big's relationship (part deux) made me cry, simply because I've been there. Very recently in fact.
When I was at work last night, I started on my first year-in-review article for AoD. I'm doing Del Rey first, simply because I figured it would be easier since it was the smallest. I'm definitely going to run it by
naniwa and
martialstax before I submit it to
cbeveridge. I got most of it done last night. I'm going to finish fleshing it out today and add the list of releases throughout the year.
naniwa, could you help me in finding that information? Where did you get yours from?
It's so sad that I have a box of Christmas presents still sitting in the car, waiting for me to mail them out. Part of the aforementioned errand running I must do.
I discovered there is also an anime con here in Maine, PortConMaine. It looks like the attendance here has grown a bit over the past few years, from 200 when they started in 2002 to 800 last year. I'm going to go since it's just 30 miles from my front door. It's two months after Anime Boston, which will give the finances a chance to recuperate as well.
