Merry Christmas!

This Christmas has been really great for me. My iMac got here yesterday, and after a disasterous attempt to reinstall OS X onto it, my boss gave me his copy of 10.3 (Panther) so I could do a clean install! WAI!! He also gave me his copy of Adobe Creative Suite and I went ahead and plopped InDesign and Photoshop on here as well. I'm officially on the Mac now. I'll keep the laptop out for now, mainly because of my iTunes. I've got enough to where it would overwhelm my poor harddrive on here. I figured that once OS 10.4 comes out, I'll use that chance to get a bigger harddrive.

The iMac's been a very good little computer so far. iChat's pretty different and I need to download Yahoo so I can talk to people like snowstorm_tm. I have a feeling this computer and I will be very happy with each other. Not bad for $275!

In an unexpected windfall, I wound up getting $290 of my security deposit back from Deer Run Apartments in Bristol. I was told I'd have to forfeit it all! Sweet! That will go toward paying for my remaining Christmas gifts to send out. And the season's been very good to me indeed. I got a box from my brother yesterday with a betta fish kit and food, along with $5 to purchase the actual betta. eagle222 sent me a $20 gift certificate to Bath and Body Works and mackatlaw gave me season three of Sex and the City. Overall, it's been a great Christmas. :)
