Fanfic authors should fight back
A rant that
niamh_sama made regarding fanfiction prompted me to make this observation of my own.
I consider myself lucky. I've not gotten as much psycoticness from reviewers as some people have. But, I am sick and tired of reviewers trying to tell me how and when I should produce a story. Or even worse, what content should be in it. After I posted chapter three of "The First Year," folks kept saying I should write a full lemon. Uh, no. If there is going to be a lemon, I will dictate when it will occur.
Niamh, I don't blame you if you decide to go through with writing the e-mail. It's time for fanfic authors to fight back. I am sick of getting idiotic reviews that are flatout abusive. I know other authors who have gotten the same. It's not fair to the writers. It's time for us to fight back.
