Fanfic musings

I have been on a writing kick lately. I've gotten up through chapter 67 of "Shikon no Go" written, but I still need to post that last chapter. Fanfiction.net is being a pain in the butt today. It's stripping out any and all scene dividers I put in there. Finally, I had to string a line of 8s together in order to get away with it. I also wrote the first part of chapter 8 of "The Twilight Struggle." What looks like what will happen is that I'll post chapters 7 and 8 either together or one right after the other. The big roadblocks to this are finding my original outline (which is lost again) and finding the original book I did some of my research out of. I can't find it now at the library.

I also completed and posted a two-part story called "Walk With Fire," which crosses over Inuyasha with an earlier Takahashi story, "The Firetripper." I was pleased with how it turned out.

My favorite IY fanfic, "The Lucky Ones," is over. All that's left to be posted is the epilogue. Now that it's finished, I want to sit down and write a long e-mail to the author and tell her how much I enjoyed it. It's sad too, because it's been one of the highlights of my week during the past four months since I discovered it.

I actually managed to do a couple of icons. I'm revisiting Rurouni Kenshin on DVD right now and watching the first Misao episodes has inspired me. I need to cap some more RuroKen.
