I've never really been part of the whole "Thank God It's Friday" group. I think it's because when I was in Selma, I knew I would be working Saturdays and Sundays. And the next ten days following that. Besides, it's just...ordinary. I like to go out and do stuff on Wednesday nights or Thursday nights. Just because I can, you know? Hahaha, I will defy convention!!

Yes, I do sound loopy. Maybe it's because I'm sleepy.

Welcome to alf_b! She's a really sweet lady who's done some terrific writing for "Inuyasha" and I began reading her journal through the inuyasha_fanfic community. She commented on my TV spots. Let me just say, they were really hard to do at first. Now, I'm starting to think a bit more with broadcast and that demographic in mind, so I feel more comfortable doing it.

I was allowed to play at work yesterday and today. I love it when I get free reign to do stuff. Stuff in this case was designing the folios and some of the open pages for the color publication we have coming out at the end of the month, "Discover Tri-Cities." I also get the chance to put in overtime for this, which will help when I go back to Alabama for shamaneyes's graduation next month. But, I also need to do a little bit of clothes shopping before then too, which will cut into funds a bit. And also pick up some more manga.

::pauses to take a 10-second rub the kitty break::

Okay, that was more like a 30-second break.

I've not made that much more progression into FFX. I've been too busy dealing with Dragonrealms lately. I am working on a review for the Mini Goddess book that Dark Horse put out that I plan to get posted to AoD in the next day or so. With the weather being so nice, I want to try and clean out my car this weekend, along with get some general cleaning and laundry done. What does this mean? It means I'll actually wind up sleeping. Which isn't such a bad prospect in the end, you know. I also need to work on getting my own domain set up beyond a splash page and keep converting over some of the Dr. Quinn seventh season episodes for Tiff.

Finally, after reading chapter 357 of the Inuyasha manga and giggling helplessly all night long over it, I made a new LJ icon for it:
