So, one month from today,
ickaimp and I will be on our way to the UK. I get to see my husband again for the first time since December. I'm going to hug him lots.
Icka tags me on IM this morning.
Icka: I have people here asking if we have a schedule for UK.
Me: Why, yes, I do. *unfolds paper*
Day 1: Meet you (Icka) in Chicago. Flail about a lot. Fly all night.
Icka: *laughs at Itinerary*
Day 2: Meet Mike eaaaarly in the morning. Hug a lot. Go outside and hug his dad. Go to the house and hug his mum. Go upstairs and get mauled against the wall. Nap.
Icka: *covers face in hands and snorts with laughter*
Day 3 and 4: More sex. Other stuff TBA.
Day 5: More sex. We really should go see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 2"
Day 6: ZOMG DAVID TENNANT AND CATHERINE TATE. (Icka's comment after here has been omitted for your sanity.)
Day 7: See about going about London and doing more traveling. Oxford, yay!
Day 8: Tell Mike for the 734th time that we are not having a threesome.
Icka: *nods*
Day 9: Go out to eat with Mike's family. Cry.
Day 10: Leave you and Mike. Place mental bets on how much chaos there is.
Icka: LOTS
Icka is staying an extra week. ^_^
Back in non-fantasy land, Icka and I are doing the numbers crunch to see about touring Bath, London and Oxford in the days surrounding our venture to see "Much Ado About Nothing": One day in Oxford, one in London (the play's a matinee and starts at 2:30 p.m.) and one in Bath, returning that night if we get the 3-day BritRail pass. The Bath day is a toss-up at the moment, we might do a second day in London instead. But, I don't think
secondlina would ever forgive me if I didn't do Oxford. ^_~
